Summary:
* Being Bob Marley's favorite strain, it's always nice when I come across Lambs Bread on the menu, a strain I have had a few times and last refilled back in March 2011.
NAME is very fitting of this strain! Could not have been named better given the scent my nostrils picked up. This batch of Lambs Bread was funky. Good news is the bag smell did seem to smell a bit "sweeter" the longer stored.
Regardless of smell, I really enjoy me some Lambs Bread. My marijuana nuggets were super coated; so coated in sugary "snow" the outer layer of the nuggets were firm and felt like "spikes" when squeezing lightly with two fingers. All that coated "goodness" gave this strain some serious bite. Some of my Lambs Breath nuggets smoked very harsh! I coughed up a lung a few times. I had to really watch how much I packed in a bowl. If to much, the rip would be really rich causing a cough attack. The spicy pepper like sensation of this strain was "hard" on the throat. Thus, this batch of Lambs Bread was "easier" for me to smoke in my smaller piece with smaller loads. Large bowl fills really were not necessary with this strain. It burned rich leaving thick, oily resin in your bowl and downstem. My bong was pretty dirty after a couple of bowls.
I enjoyed the buzz effect as I like a "heavy" Sativa strain and Lambs Bread delivered a nice "heaviness" in the front of the forehead with full facial tingle. The buzz "feeling" is more prevalent in the face vs. the rest of the body. My eyes felt like they were "jumping around," but I had great clarity and clear vision. But, coming down can be a bit heavy. For a Sativa, I actually caught myself dozing off a few times with a intense heavy feeling being the eyes.
As a side note, I found myself engulfed in deep house music at times while medicated with Lambs Bread. I actually found a few nice sources to listen/stream deep house music to.
Overall, Lambs Bread is a solid winner and this refill is the best rendition of the strain I've had to date. I enjoyed many great mornings as this was my "go-to" strain for my first of the day "wake and bake" session or included in my post-workout regime before sitting down and preparing for my work day.
Cheers (& Cough),
