Grade: A
Type: Hybrid
Looks: Mostly "medium" sized nugs. Very tight and dense, but scissored up sticky and fluffy. Deep green in color with purple "leaf" covered in "powdered sugar" trichs.
Smell: Reminds me of Shasta Grape Soda. Exhaled smoke left a sweet, marshmallow like scent.
Taste: Blackjack produces very thick smoke. Although not an overpowering or "strong" taste, this strain covers the palate with flavors of very tasty grape and "sour wine;" leaving a lip licking sweet after taste with the hint of sour lemon powdered candy.
Buzz Type: Provided me with a nice initial rush/burst of energy. Strong points for me were energy and focus with secondary pain relief.
Buzz Length: Above Average (1.5 hours)
Summary:
* I really enjoyed medicating with Blackjack. Blackjack smelled and tasted excellent. This was such a smooth and tasty strain, I probably completed my "jar" faster than normal.
This was a very tasty strain that became my "go to" flower for the daytime. Blackjack provided decent post-workout pain relief in addition to good energy to keep me focused thus, taking care of many tasks efficiently. Blackjack was also a good wind down strain for the early evening. Blackjack is like a good "Happy Hour" time frame strain for me. It got me up and going with good pain relief and good energy for social situations.
Blackjack was a nice strain for me to medicate with just before I need a harder OG one/two punch. I have a habit of catching couch lock while watching late night TV. Blackjack nicely eases me to sleep allowing me to actually watch TV for a few hours having couch lock the minutes I get "comfortable."
Unlike most strains I refill with, I was able to medicate with Blackjack cautiously inside my home. The scent was "sweet" enough to where the lingering scent did not smell like "weed" allowing me to feel comfortable taking hits standing inside blowing out an open window with no worries. Blackjack did not have an overpowering strong smell in storage. This strain was very easy to keep and one of the few strains where I did not hear a complaint in regard to the smell.
Providing a combination of ailment relief for me, Blackjack was a nice strain to switch up and is another strain that does now show up often on local "menus" around me.
For me, the effects of this strain were more Sativa dominant.
Vape Notes:
Blackjack has a nice fruity taste in the vape that reminds me of Grape LimeAid. A very energetic strain in the vape providing more Sativa like qualities. Much more headiness in the vape vs. the bong for me. I felt more "productive" during the day vaping Blackjack vs. using my bong.
